Commissioning works commenced at KN's LNG reloading station

The first delivery of LNG from the United States came to Lithuania

The first batch of American liquefied natural gas arrived at the port of Klaipeda, the Lithuanian Ministry of Energy announced.

The LNG vessel "Independence" operated by Klaipedos Nafta will start shipping to the Lithuanian natural gas system in the middle of the week after the liquefied natural gas is transferred. The part of the gas, "Lietuvos dujos tiekimas", is in the protection of Inčiukalnis natural gas storage and will be available to customers in Latvia.

AB Klaipedos Nafta is implementing the liquefied natural gas (LNG) reloading station project which is LNG tanks with a total capacity of 5,000 cubic meters to which the gas from the LNG terminal is delivered by LNG carrier and distributed by road transport means (LNG trucks) or smaller vessels.
